Hello Everyone,
I think this post needs to come with a warning that I’ll be mentioning the ‘C’ word a few times, that’s Christmas for the uninitiated, so with that warning out of the way, let’s delve into this exciting post I have for you today.
Christmas as a grown up is waaaaayyyyy different to Christmas as a child, as a kid I would get excited late November time, be manic through all of December and then crash on Boxing Day, filled with sweets and laden with gifts and that was pretty much Christmas to me, but, as a fully fledged adult with two little ones and a husband, Christmas is different now.
These days I start my festive planning in summer, I begin shopping around, squirrelling away gifts and planning my December menu around July and I’m not even sorry. This means that come the beginning of December, when everyone else I know is rushing around stressing about Christmas, I’m sat with a mulled wine enjoying the festivities - it works to be prepared early my friends!
A huge part of Christmas for me now is the food, gone are the days of daydreaming about the latest Barbies and My Little Ponies, these days I get my kicks in the festive food halls, Christmas cook books and prepping food hampers for loved ones (and also hoping to be gifted something edible), so when Prestige Hampers offered me the chance to review one of their luxury Christmas hampers, guess what I said...
Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Glory To This Amazing Thing!
I didn’t know which hamper I was being sent and so the excitement was real when my lovely postie arrived with a huge box and upon opening, I knew that it was going to be a good day.
Under the initial layer there were yet more goodies and as I didn’t know what would be in there, it really was like Christmas came early in this house.
Everything arrived perfectly packed as you can see from the pictures and all items had a decent use by date too, so you don't have to scoff the lot immediately but if you want to do just that then once again, no judging!
I am seriously impressed by this lovely selection and I'm pretty certain that it won't be too long till I place another order with Prestige Hampers.
What do you all think? Are you into Hampers for Christmas gifts?
Speak to you all soon,
Rosy xx
*This item was gifted free of charge in return fir review.
Oh dear, you realy are serious about the preparing part, aren´t you? I don´t think about Christmas until it is December, so no chilling with mulled wine for me! Also, I never thought about a hamper as gift, but I am a huge fan of anything edible, so...

Being prepared definitely pays off! I usually get my Christmas shopping finished around November. But I am slowly getting better... It doesn't help now that my daughter's birthday is in December, too! All the festivities in one month!

Ooh yes, that would be a lot for one month! I normally finish around November too.

It is such an exciting time of the year. Great idea to start squirreling away gifts early enough. Saves one a lot of stress later.

What a beautiful hamper! :)
ReplyDeleteI like getting Christmas things organised early too, mostly because it's hectic with kids in December and taking them to over crowded shops is not my idea of fun, haha! I'm starting to get organised now with things to buy people!
Hope you have been having a lovely weekend :)

This is such a nice and yummy collection. I used to make my own hampers too and gave it to close relatives, this post made me remember that happy feeling.
