The Endless Autumn | That Time I Read Erotic Fiction

Follow

Hello Everyone,

Now, I assume you've seen the title of this post, and no, it wasn't clickbait. Today we are talking about a book I recently read called The Endless Autumn and yes, it falls under the category of 'Erotic Fiction'.
I've been lucky enough to have been provided with a guest post from the author Annabelle Knight which you'll find at the end of this post right after my review, so now I'll cut the preamble and get into it lest this turns into a 200 page chat.

Glassesshop.com Review

Follow

Hello Everyone,

Today I'm going to be talking to you a little about glasses, as many of you know, I am shortsighted and thus I wear glasses everyday (or I walk into walls and into canals and stuff).
Since I wear glasses daily, I like to have a couple of different pairs to wear to change up my look now and then.

I was offered the chance to try out a pair of eyeglasses of my choice from GlassesShop and I think it's fair to say that I jumped at the chance. Prior to this, I had only had one pair of glasses in rotation (a black rimmed pair) and so I was really excited to add some new glasses frames into my wardrobe.

As GlassesShop are entirely online, I had to order blind (guffaw guffaw) as I wasn't able to try any frames on to see if they suited me, I didn't let that put me off though and eagerly sent through my prescription details. I've ordered glasses online before (and paid for them myself) and so I noticed an immediate difference with GlassesShop, they wanted to know my PD, which I'd never even heard of prior to this order and I had to call up my opticians to ask for it. Turns out your PD is the distance in millimeters between your pupils and is used to:

"align the optical center of the lens with the center of your eye in order to avoid unnecessary eye strain and make your eyeglasses fit you perfectly"
From my email conversation with GlassesShop.

I was really interested in this as I've never been asked for it before but when I rang specsavers (and had the awkward conversation that yes, they had just given me a free eye test and yes I was actually obtaining my glasses elsewhere *gulp*) it turned out I did have a PD and it was legit... Anyone else been asked for this?

All patter aside, the glasses arrived from china within two weeks, I tried them on to see if I could see (I'm really short sighted so I knew I'd be able to tell immediately if my prescription wasn't in the lense) and I could see perfectly.
