The One Where eBay Sent Me Porn

Please Follow Me On Bloglovin'

Hi Everyone,

Today's post is going to be a little different in that it is going to be a video, partly because I feel the camera reaction is way better than anything you'll be able to read written and also partly in vain to plug my YouTube channel (where I mostly talk about books if you're interested.)

For those of you who don't want to watch the video, I'll sum up quickly what happened.

So I wanted to buy a very popular book about a girl who is date raped and then photos of the event surface on social media, eBay instead sent me a totally different book about a woman with a rape fantasy instead. To see the full story, click the video, sit back and enjoy the horror that unfolds when eBay goes wrong.

I hope you enjoyed the video and perhaps even subscribed (hint hint) and the direct link to this video (should you want to subscribe *casual face* is Here

Have you ever had an eBay horror story?

  1. Wow your so pretty girl!! Loved the video, so funny! I would contact the seller and get a refund if you can! The listing is not what was advertised so it goes against eBays policy! x

  4. Ebay has pros and cons. I think most of the time, their are a lot of shady buyers you have to watch out for. I loved watching your video and hearing your review :)http://www.bauchlefashion.com/2017/02/london-fashion-weeks-unique-shopping.html

  6. Oh wow - that's quite the mix up. I would definitely contact the seller and let them know that it definitely isn't what you wanted... it makes an interesting story though haha!

  8. Oh no! :O Definitely ironic and unfortunate!! I was annoyed when I ordered a paperback book and it turned up as a hard copy but at least it was the same book. Maybe re-listing it would be a good idea like you said. I hope you never have an experience like that again! <3

  10. I love using Ebay but I do get annoyed being sent fake items, which happened to me a lot of times and when I contacted the seller they just let me keep the fake and refunded me money. It's like they KNEW they are selling fakes! This mix up is def. ironic though... Contact the seller and get a refund!

  11. The irony in this story hahaha. However, I do think it’s an important topic that should be discussed more but eBay does love to mess things up a lot of the time.. Imagine if you gave her that book! It was en entertaining video though. Thanks for sharing your story & the topic.

  14. I was wondering how that could have happened since items there are sold by individuals, but I guess booksellers are on there, too. But it sounds like someone just chose the wrong book when they were uploading the listing. You'd think they would have checked to make sure the covers matched, at least! I hope you got your refund.

Although, I don't know what I'm more shocked about, how the two books were confused, or the fact that someone actually wrote a sh*t book with the title Asking For It. (I suggest you burn it before someone finds it?! haha!). Although, loved the video by the way - you have the cutest accent girl!
